A concert celebrating a century of iconic film scores brought East and West together in Chengdu, the capital of southwest China’s Sichuan Province, on Thursday. Titled "A Century of Sound and Shadow," the concert was a prelude to the Golden Panda Awards that is being held from Friday to Saturday in the city. The concert used the power of symphonic music to bring timeless film melodies to life, featuring scores from classics such as "The Sound of Music," "Titanic," and "Journey to the West."
