Teen Has License Suspended for Not Having a Prom Date
I am a police officer and founder of the Basketball Cop Foundation, which works to strengthen police/youth/community relations nationwide. Because of my community engagement experience, a detective I work with came to me for ideas on how to help a teen he mentors with asking his girlfriend to the prom. I came up with the idea of having her come pick him up, and me pulling her over on the way. He was with the detective and rolled up on the stop and proposed. The BCF provided them with a $100 gift card for dinner before the prom. Chase and Sammy had a great time at the prom.
