Bakersfield, United States - September 17, 2025 09/16/2025 06:00 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A vigil for Charlie Kirk was held at the Dignity Health Amphitheater in River Walk Park. Organizers kicked off the event with a motorcade parade featuring around 600 cars, which began at Chuy’s on Rosedale Highway. The motorcade arrived at River Walk Park later in the evening, where more than 1,000 attendees had gathered. Speakers shared stories about Kirk’s life and discussed his impact on the nation. At the conclusion of the vigil, attendees illuminated the amphitheater with candles and phone flashlights. The Bakersfield Police Department maintained a strong presence at the event to ensure the safety of those in attendance.
