This is the heartwarming moment a grandfather surprised his wife with a dance and a bouquet.

The family was celebrating Saying's 80th birthday when her husband Gibis, 78, performed a sweet dance in front of her in Cavite, the Philippines.

Footage captured by Bernalyn Requio shows the celebrant, seated in a wheelchair, being moved into the venue while her husband hid nearby with their grandchildren, who held a confetti tube and flowers.

Moments later, the elderly man, dressed in a yellow polo shirt, swayed in front of Saying while holding the bouquet on March 4.

The heart-touching gesture prompted relatives to pop the confetti and burst into giggles and cheers, all beaming as they witnessed the romantic pensioner's dance.

Bernalyn said: 'We were all shocked because we did not know that our grandfather will dance. It was very sweet and romantic.'
