President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump arrived at Winfield House for their official visit to the United Kingdom.

The couple were received at London Stansted Airport by members of the Royal Air Force and senior British officials, including Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, on Tuesday evening, September 16.

They were then escorted to the townhouse in Regent's Park, central London, which is the official residence of the US ambassador to the UK, where they were to spend the night.

Footage shows Air Force One carrying the Trumps arriving at the mansion. They were greeted by US Ambassador to the UK Warren Stephens and his wife, Harriet.

The official part of the visit will begin on Wednesday, when King Charles III and Queen Camilla are scheduled to welcome them at Windsor Castle.

Before landing, Trump said: 'My relationship is very good with the UK, and Charles, as you know, who's now King, is my friend. It's the first time this has ever happened where somebody was honoured twice. So, it's a great honour.'

The visit coincides with preparations by the UK and US to sign a landmark technology deal designed to strengthen collaboration between the two nations' multi-trillion-dollar tech industries.
