Los Angeles, United States - September 17, 2025 09/17/2025 03:10 am GMT-0700 CENTRAL ALAMEDA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Central California Highway Patrol officers initiated a pursuit of a stolen red Hyundai sedan in the area of Olympic Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue. The suspects fled south on Santa Fe before turning west onto Washington Boulevard. The pursuit ended when the Hyundai crashed head-on into a white sedan at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and McGarry Street. The driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle fled on foot. Officers apprehended the driver without incident, while the passenger remains at large. Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were requested to the scene due to the crash. The female driver of the white sedan and the driver of the stolen Hyundai were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. A CHP sergeant at the scene reported that the pursuit lasted approximately 15 seconds before the suspects crashed, and it has been confirmed that the vehicle was stolen. The back seat of the Hyundai contained a large quantity of the Labubu brand of collectable plush toys, although it is unclear if these items were also stolen.
