Police stop van displaying huge photo of Trump and Epstein in Windsor
A campaign group were stopped by police after driving a van displaying a huge photo of Trump and Epstein around Windsor today.
Political campaign group 'Everyone Hates Elon' organised the stunt involving the photo with the words ' welcome to the UK, Donald'.
The campaign group claims the van was seized by police while they were driving down Windsor High Street.
But a spokesperson from Thames Valley police says the van was not seized and officers had a "brief" discussion with the drivers - telling them to move to avoid breaking traffic laws."
The group said: "Police took our Trump and Epstein van."
"They're obviously terrified of THIS photo of Donald with the world's most notorious paedophile making headlines while Trump visits the King."
Trump is currently in the UK for a historic second state visit, where he will spend the night at Windsor Castle with the Royal Family.
Protests have been organised during the visit, with a large demonstration planned in Central London.
A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said: "Security checks are a necessary part of our response to ensure the safety of the state visit and all those in the area."
"The driver was at risk of breaching the Road Traffic Regulations Act, and after a brief conversation with officers, the motorist left the area."
"No arrests were made, and no vehicles were seized. "
"We have been clear with the public that an enhanced police presence would be in place due to the state visit."
