3. JOSE MANUEL SANCHEZ, SPANISH LAWYER, SPEAKING TO CAMERA MADRID, SPAIN - SEP. 17, 2025: Lawyers, judges and prosecutors took to the streets of Madrid on Wednesday, Sep. 17, to protest against Israel’s actions in Gaza.

Wearing their robes, members of legal associations that support Palestine gathered outside the Israeli Embassy in Madrid and the Consulate in Barcelona.

In a manifesto read at the rally, the protesters declared: “Palestine and Gaza are today the graveyard of international law. To remain silent is to be complicit in genocide.”

They accused Israel of breaching international law and violating human rights during its military campaign in the enclave.

The Israeli army has killed more than 65,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, in Gaza since October 2023. The relentless bombardment has rendered the enclave uninhabitable and led to starvation and the spread of diseases.

The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
