Passengers horrified when ground truck crashes into plane's engine
Passengers were left terrified when a ground truck crashed into a plane's engine just minutes before take-off.
The Airbus A320 was preparing to depart from Bangkok, Thailand to Vientiane, Laos, when the vehicle rammed into the aircaft on September 15.
Footage captured by Linn Hou shows the four-wheeler, its hood dented, cautiously reversing back across the tarmac following the collision.
Moments later, ground staff in reflective vests inspected the engine before deciding to disembark passengers from Thai AirAsia Flight FD1042.
The flight was delayed for around one hour and 40 minutes before finally departing.
Linn said: 'The plane was delayed for a while and I looked from my window and witnessed this. I'm pretty sure not a lot of people were aware of the situation, even the ground staff looked confused.'
Passengers were moved onto a diferent plane before the flight took off and landed safely.
