US, Los Angeles: Santa Clarita Candlelight Vigil Held In Memory Of Assassinated Charlie Kirk
Los Angeles, United States - September 18, 2025 09/17/2025 07:00 pm GMT-0700 SANTA CLARITA, Calif. – Hundreds gathered at 7 p.m. Wednesday for a candlelight vigil honoring conservative commentator Charlie Kirk in the 23800 block of Newhall Road. The event was organized by students from the Turning Point Saugus High School chapter, which is not officially affiliated with the school. Attendees held candles and listened to speakers who reflected on Kirk’s influence and religious beliefs. Several described the gathering as a turning point for America, urging those present to carry his message forward. The vigil drew community members of all ages, with participants saying it was meant to highlight both Kirk’s impact and their commitment to his vision. Charlie Kirk was a conservative commentator and the founder of Turning Point USA. Kirk, 31, was killed on Wednesday, Sept. 10, after being shot during a speaking event at Utah Valley University.
