Israel - September 17, 2025 Hundreds of officers from Israel’s Southern District Police, including Yoav and Sehar units, Negev precinct officers, Border Police, National Guard forces, and aerial support, assisted the Israel Land Authority in enforcing a judicial demolition order against illegal construction near Segev Shalom. The operation followed several failed attempts at voluntary compliance. During the enforcement, residents set tires and structures on fire, prompting security forces to use crowd dispersal measures and quickly restore order. The demolition was carried out in an organized manner without major disturbances. Afterward, some residents threw stones at the departing forces, leading to two arrests.
