Apple’s iPhone 17 series officially went on sale in India on Friday, drawing massive crowds and long queues outside flagship Apple stores in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Delhi’s Saket.
The enthusiasm was especially high at the BKC store, where many customers had traveled from different parts of the country, highlighting the strong nationwide demand for the new iPhones.
Apple had earlier unveiled the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, and the high-end iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models at its “Awe Dropping” event on September 9. Alongside the smartphones, the company also launched the Apple Watch Series 11, Watch Ultra 3, Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3 — all featuring enhanced health, performance, and audio capabilities.
The scenes outside Apple stores reflected the brand’s strong fan base in India, as eager buyers waited for hours — some overnight — to get their hands on the latest devices.
