A tourist was stunned as he dined at a fairy-tale inspired artist village in the Philippines.

Holidaymaker David Janzel Villasenor was amazed to explore the forest-themed enclave, filled with timber structures housing shops and restaurants adorned with a variety of art pieces, at Ili-Likha Artist Village in Baguio, Benguet.

Footage shows David on the second floor of a wooden shop, resembling the whimsical homes of woodland creatures seen in films.

David jokingly said: 'The village was so cool that I almost thought I could meet Tinker Bell or the Seven Dwarfs.'

Ili-Likha Artist Village was built around a tree on Assumption Road in 2014 and has since become one of the city's hidden gems.

The site features bars, restaurants, cafes, and art shops where tourists and locals alike can indulge in food, culture, and creativity.
