Los Angeles, United States - September 19, 2025 09/19/2025 01:43 am GMT-0700 HIGHLAND PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department and California Highway Patrol rushed to the scene of a four-vehicle crash on the southbound 110 Freeway near Avenue 43. Upon arrival, crews discovered a silver Subaru sedan overturned and engulfed in flames, obstructing the slow lane. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, preventing further damage. Preliminary investigations indicate that the sedan lost control for an unknown reason before crashing into a chain-link fence along the right shoulder, damaging approximately 100 feet of fencing. The driver reportedly exited the vehicle and was being evaluated by LAFD paramedics. Bystanders observed one individual fleeing the scene, but it is unclear if there were any passengers in the car at the time of the incident. As crews worked to clear the roadway, CHP halted traffic in all lanes to ensure safety and facilitate the response efforts.
