China: Quantum intelligence, controlled nuclear fusion discussed at Pujiang Innovation Forum in Shanghai
More than 550 attendees from over 300 organizations in 45 countries and regions have been participating in the largest-ever Pujiang Innovation Forum on frontier technologies in Shanghai, China, since Saturday. Over 30 sub-forums on quantum intelligence, controlled nuclear fusion, and other cutting-edge technologies will be held at the three-day 18th Pujiang Innovation Forum, which has become a global exchange platform for scientists and entrepreneurs. "Some globally important scientists and even managers on nuclear fusion have gathered here to discuss how nuclear fusion should proceed in the future. We have discussions on the development direction, so that we can make more steady progress in the future," said Luo Delong, deputy director-general of ITER Organization, an intergovernmental organization aimed at advancing the ITER Project of building the world's largest tokamak. The forum has been enhancing its trading platform to facilitate the efficient application of scientific and technological advances. A total of 10,000 technical demands will be announced at its Tech-matching Fair, which is also displaying more than 80 debut products and application scenarios in cutting-edge fields.
