US, Los Angeles: Boyle Heights Suspect Shoots at LAPD Officers With Rifle Part 3
Los Angeles, United States - September 21, 2025 09/21/2025 12:27 am GMT-0700 BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollenbeck units responded to the 300 block of North Myers Street for reports of a man armed with a rifle shooting near the Los Angeles River. Officers arrived on the scene and located the suspect, who then opened fire on them. The suspect fled north along the railroad tracks that run parallel to the river. No officers were injured, and it remains unclear if they returned fire. A large manhunt is currently underway for the suspect. An LAPD Public Information Officer is en route to the scene. An update will be added to this report.
