FAMILIES MOURNING VICTIMS OF ATTACK, INCLUDING CHILDREN (2 SHOTS)GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEP. 21:On Sunday, Sep. 21, Israeli forces carried out a strike on the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing eight Palestinians, including children. Victims and survivors were rushed to Al-Awda Hospital in nearby Nuseirat, where grieving families gathered to mourn their loved ones. The Israeli army has continued a brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing more than 65,000 Palestinians since October 2023. The military campaign has devastated the enclave and forced the entire population into famine. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
