A shopkeeper ushered tourists away from the tracks at Hanoi's Train Street.

Footage captured by Chinese holidaymaker Duy Hai shows the woman directing the group to sit still and keep their distance just seconds after a train passed.

Moments later, the locomotive can be seen speeding through the narrow area, close to the vacationers on the floor taking pictures and filming as it moved along.

Authorities advise tourists to exercise caution when visiting Train Street, as the area is prone to accidents.

In June 2024, a foreign tourist was spotted on the tracks posing for a photo as a train approached, resulting in the cafe owner being fined for allowing the incident.

The area has become a popular destination for both international and domestic tourists, particularly those seeking unique cultural experiences and photography.

Local media reported that Hanoi welcomed approximately 18.3 million visitors in the first seven months of 2025.
