Cars and a lorry plunged into a sinkhole in China.

Footage shows the truck trapped inside the massive cavity, with two black sedans left teetering on the edge in Zhoukou, Henan, on September 20.

Concerned onlookers gathered nearby as passengers and drivers scrambled out of their vehicles.

A rider who witnessed the incident recalled hearing a loud bang as the road collapsed beneath the weight of the black car and container truck, followed by another sedan behind the lorry.

Traffic police and ambulance crews were immediately dispatched to cordon off the area and assist those involved.

No injuries were reported, and authorities are now working to repair the damaged road.

Similar incidents have occurred in recent months.
