The National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD), supported by the Public Ministry, said more than 4,500 grams of cocaine and marijuana were confiscated, along with two firearms, a car, motorcycles, scales and communication equipment. In Peravia’s Bani municipality, 15 people were detained and more than 2,800 grams of drugs were seized in coordinated raids across several neighborhoods. Operations extended to San Cristobal, where 18 people were arrested and authorities confiscated over 1,600 grams of cocaine, 234 grams of marijuana, and several portions of crack cocaine. Officials said the operations are part of a broader strategy to combat micro-trafficking and organized crime across the country.
