In a market complex in the city, salespeople livestream goods to European and Central Asian consumers in English, Russian, or Kazakh. This livestreamer, who just arrived in Horgos last year, already has over 100,000 followers. [Sound_bite] Dimash Yerlan, cross-border livestreamer from Kazakhstan: "People in our country love to drink juice, and juicers like this are particularly popular, with hundreds of them sold a day." [Voice_over] The city’s bonded zone is now home to 45 cross-border e-commerce companies, eight overseas operations centers and a world-class e-commerce industrial park. Plus, customs officials say they’ve streamlined export procedures. [Sound_bite] Yang Qiang, chief, first supervision section, Horgos Customs: "The number of customs clearance steps has been reduced from 12 to four, and customs clearance time has been reduced from over 30 hours to less than five, increasing customs clearance efficiency by 80 percent."
