A DoorDash delivery turned into a tense scam encounter for Samantha Felton, who outsmarted a fraudster during a Pizza Hut pickup and shared the experience in a TikTok video that’s now gaining traction.

Felton had accepted an order for a customer named Mollie when she received a suspicious phone call claiming the delivery address had changed. The caller offered her a $25 refund for the “inconvenience” and began asking how she’d like to receive the payment—clearly fishing for personal information.

Sensing something was off, Felton played along, pretending to be naive. When the scammer pressed further, she abruptly shut it down. “There is a message that popped out… Don’t fall for scammer bullshit—I know you’re not DoorDash. Don’t call me again, and I am reporting you,” she shouted.

The scammer, who had actually placed the order, responded with vulgarity before ending the call.
