Police seized thousands of fake brand-name gadgets from a warehouse in Thailand.

Officers raided the home of suspected counterfeit seller Orapin, 43, in Samut Prakan, just outside Bangkok, on September 18.

They seized a staggering 11,064 items including headphones, chargers and phones, all carrying fake Apple and Huawei branding.

Police said the operation followed tip-offs about a housing estate being used as a warehouse for fake electronic goods sold online.

Sales records allegedly showed the gadgets were shipped to numerous customers across Thailand.

The The Economic Crime Suppression Division secured a search warrant and stormed the home where they found the counterfeit dealer.

Orapin reportedly confessed to selling the knock-off gadgets at lower prices. She said they were popular with bargain hunters but were of poor quality and easily broke after being used a few times.

Police said Orapin faces charges of possessing products bearing counterfeit trademarks and misleading the public into thinking they were genuine goods.

They added further investigation into the counterfeit network was underway.
