The chase began about 10:52 p.m. when Los Angeles police attempted to stop an unidentified person for reasons that were not immediately clear. An air unit was requested during the pursuit. A crash occurred shortly after, though it was not known if any officers were involved. At least one person was transported from the scene. The number of people in the vehicle and the extent of injuries were not available. The suspect is believed to be in custody following a possible foot pursuit.
