8. VARIOUS OF DISPLACED FAMILIES’ RESTING IN TENTS, TRAVELLING SOUTH GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - SEP. 25: On Thursday, Sep. 25, Palestinian families fled south along Gaza’s coastal Rashid Street, carrying only a few belongings as Israeli air and ground assaults escalated.

With no safe destination, many said they were left wandering in search of shelter, while others huddled in makeshift tents after days of displacement.

At least 65,502 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, Gaza Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The Israeli army resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 12,939 people and injured 55,335 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.

Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
