Celebrity makeup artist Henrique Martins shared on social media videos showing the damage caused to his apartment during the windstorm that hit downtown São Paulo on the afternoon of Monday (22).
In the footage, recorded by his brother, the rain can be seen intensifying until the windows shatter and water floods into the apartment.

Despite the scare, no one was injured. According to Henrique, the window film coating helped prevent more serious damage.

The artist also shared that he experienced moments of anguish upon hearing about the incident from afar, as he was traveling in Rio de Janeiro at the time. One of his cats even went missing after the incident but was later found hiding inside the apartment. “Material things can be replaced,” he stated.

Back at the apartment, Henrique showed the damage: shattered windows, thrown furniture, destroyed paintings and bottles. The wooden floors and walls were also compromised. According to him, a tree branch thrown by the wind likely caused the windows to break.
