This Hawaii based glass artist sculpts stunning octopus with dichroic and filmed the intricate process.

They said: "Working with dichroic is always a balance—it’s beautiful, but it can be temperamental. I start by proportioning the bubble, sculpting the head, and then pulling each tentacle individually, shaping them one by one while managing temperature and flow.

"The hardest part? Keeping symmetry while the glass wants to do its own thing. The shimmering effect you see comes from the micro-layers of metal oxides in the dichroic - reflecting and refracting light as you move around it. It’s one of my favourite materials to work with when I want to bring motion and life to a static form."
