STARMER AND ALBANESE WALKING INTO 10 DOWNING LONDON, UK - SEPT. 26: UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with his Australian counterpart, Anthony Albanese, in London on Friday, following their joint appearance at a major left-wing global summit. Starmer welcomed Albanese, who is on an official visit to the UK, in front of the Prime Minister's official residence at 10 Downing Street. The two leaders appeared together later Friday at the "Global Progress Action", a left-wing global summit in London. According to a statement from the UK's Labour Party, Starmer was expected to hail their recent election victories as a beacon of hope for progressive movements worldwide. The statement indicated that Starmer would point to the successes of Albanese, the Labour Party he leads, and other international examples as "living proof that progressive values can overcome those who seek to divide societies."
