Bangkok, Thailand - September 27, 2025 A giant sinkhole, measuring 50 meters deep, appeared on Samsen Road, near Vajira Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand, early Wednesday morning (September 24). The incident resulted in the evacuation of residents in the surrounding area. All 3,500 hospital patients were moved to safer locations. To mitigate further impact, authorities cut off water and electricity. They also plugged tunnel leaks, assessed the safety of surrounding buildings, monitored ground movement, and directed traffic.
