Adorable footage of a three-year-old boy crying when Ronaldo got injured during the Euro 2016 final (France v Portugal).

The video, filmed in Croatia during the final on Sunday, shows little Patrik possibly mimicking Ronaldo's tears after the Portugal superstar had to go off with a knee injury in the first half.

Fortunately, it was all okay in the end, as Portugal won and Patrik could see Ronaldo on the touch line throughout extra time.

"Patrik soon realized Ronaldo is still present, taking a big coach roll and trying to help the players to win," the filmer, Patrik's uncle, wrote online.

"So Portual won and my nephew was awake until midnight just wanting to see Ronaldo holding the trophy."

The biggest and also the youngest Ronaldo fan in Croatia is definitely my nephew Patrik, a 3 year old boy who apparently could not take it that his idol, Christiano Ronaldo had to leave the game because of his knee injury. We never thought or could assume he would react to this in such a emotional way, and at that moment we watched full drama happening on the TV screen (when Ronaldo cried) and our baby boy in our home. Nothing could comfort Patrik so he ended up crying deep in tears for at least 10 more minutes after Ronaldo got to leave the game. But victory was sweet. Patrik soon realized Ronaldo is still present, taking a big coach roll and trying to help the players to win the Final game at EURO 2016 vs. France. So Portual won and my nephew was awake until midnight just wanting to see Ronaldo holding the trophy.
