A woman drew stares from fellow passengers when her hood and skincare mask made her look like a Harry Potter Death Eater.

Emma Darling, 41, was travelling from London to Japan on September 1, 2025.

While getting ready for her overnight flight, she applied a skincare face mask to keep her dry skin moisturized during the long-haul journey.

But when she returned from the airplane bathroom with her black hood up, the combination of her face mask and hood unintentionally made her resemble a Harry Potter villain.

Emma, from Harringay, London, said: "I was embarrassed when I needed the loo so I put my hood up not thinking how silly it looked. "

"I forgot how pointy my hood was. "

"On the way back, passengers were laughing at me, hence why I was so embarrassed when I sat down."
