A robot dog crashed into a robot runner from behind and flipped over during a race in China.

Footage shows the mechanical canine accelerating towards the back of the humanoid before colliding with its legs and tumbling onto the track in Heilongjiang, China.

The bot stopped and turned around as the mechanical pooch quickly climbd back onto its feet.

Spectators and videographers were seen laughing with amusement during the autumn marathon event held at the Harbin Institute of Technology on September 27.

The Harbin Institute of Technology is a leading engineering university in northeast China known for its robotics research. Its teams have developed humanoid and service machines as well as technology used in space projects.
