Stunning country home has a hidden surprise in the garden... a pool shaped like giant penis
A photographer has built a secluded country home with a hidden surprise - a giant penis-shaped swimming pool.
Chub Nokkaew constructed his dream vacation home in a remote part of Prachuap Khiri Khan province in southern Thailand.
Named 'Chubpydoo Land' meaning 'Land of Happiness', the Italian-style villa is located away from the city, nestled next to dense woods and sprawling fields.
The main building features a curved shingled roof with balconies and arched windows, evoking a Tuscan vibe. Next to it is a storage space converted into a small cafe, where visitors can enjoy lemon-based treats from Chub's own farm.
However, the getaway's main attraction is the pool shaped like male genitals, large enough to be seen on Google Earth satellite images.
The giant penis, with its striking blue tiles and vertical symmetry, has become an unlikely spot for bird's-eye-view glamour shoots with his roster of high-end models.
Chub said: 'In designing the property, I did not follow an orthodox formula, but simply did as my heart wanted.
'The penis-shaped pool was not only about being lewd, but also expressed my identity, in the creative work as art I produce as a glamour photographer.
'Building a rectangular or circular pool would make it only an ordinary swimming pool, but I wanted an iconic design that visitors could instantly remember, so the penis shape was the answer.
'Storytelling is more important than function, but I did not completely neglect that. For example, the circular pool areas shaped like testicles are shallow, allowing children to swim there, which is symbolic of young life in the testes.
'People take pictures every time they visit, which gives them something to talk about and tell their friends.'
Chub said that the process of creating Chubpydoo Land started in 2022 with soil preparation and pond excavation. In 2023, the actual construction began and was completed this year.
The snapped said the house is often hired by LGBT groups who have pool parties. He said the house and land had cost the equivalent of 'hundreds of thousands of dollars'.
Erotic paintings and sculptures are also found throughout the property.
The photographer said he now plans to build a vagina-shaped pool next to the phallus to attract even more visitors.
H added: 'People might think I'm crazy, but I disagree because everything I've done has been carefully thought out. I'm just terrible at explaining it.
'Many people ask me what I'm doing, and I don't know how to answer. I just let my work speak for itself.
'For example, when my house was finished, everyone said it was beautiful, and I thought it would be great for renting out or as a place to stay. So I gave it a try. People who stayed there said they loved it and would come back. That alone is enough to make me happy.
'These days, people come to see the house. My younger siblings tease me, saying it's like visiting a museum.'
