This is the shocking moment a teenager crashed during his very first attempt at riding a motorcycle.

Not Kraiwut was teaching his nephew, Ar Chai, to drive in their front yard in Sa Kaeo, Thailand, when the youngster accidentally twisted the throttle to full power.

CCTV footage shows the 16-year-old with his uncle riding pillion before suddenly accelerating down the driveway on September 29.

The pair lost balance and toppled over, with Not's slipper flying into the air as Ar Chai lay sprawled on his stomach across the scooter.

The man then quickly stood up and rushed to help his dazed nephew back on his feet.

In another clip, Not took the controls himself and allowed Ar Chai to observe while they drove away from the home.

The teenager did not sustain any serious injuries, though Not sustained a minor wound to his leg.

Not said: 'It was very dangerous. My nephew has an artificial heart valve and has suffered from heart disease since childhood. I don't think I'll teach him anymore.'
