Motorcycle rider horrified to find baby snake in his helmet
This is the shocking moment a horrified motorcyclist found a baby snake hiding inside his helmet.
Jirasak Tharanart had been riding for three hours before taking a break from the scorching heat in Nong Bua Lamphu, Thailand, on Wednesday.
He removed the headgear to cool off - only to discover the small reptile nestled in the padding.
Footage shows the foot-long scaly stowaway emerging from the helmet before slithering toward the nearby trees.
Shocked Jirasak said: ‘I was delivering food for my girlfriend's chicken rice shop. I had been riding for around three hours and saw the snake when I took off my helmet while delivering the last order.
‘Fortunately, it was a non-venomous common wolf snake, and I have already released it into the forest by the roadside.'
The common wolf snake is a small, non-venomous snake found across South and Southeast Asia. It resembles the highly venomous krait, but is harmless to humans and typically feeds on small prey.
