US, Los Angeles: Downtown Los Angeles DUI Moped Rider Strikes Police Car
Los Angeles, United States - October 02, 2025 10/02/2025 12:00 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division officers conducted an investigatory stop near the intersection of Hill and 12th streets. While they were conducting their investigation, a moped collided with the passenger door of the patrol car. The impact caused the door to bend in the opposite direction. It appeared that no one was injured in the crash. Following the collision, LAPD Central Traffic officers administered a field sobriety test to the moped rider. It was determined that the male was under the influence, and he was taken into custody without incident.
