This is the hilarious moment an ATV ride ended in disaster when it became stuck on a muddy trail, drenching two girls in sludge.

Tiw Wannaporn and her friend were assisting their tour leader in trying to remove the four-wheeler out of the quagmire in Chonburi, Thailand.

Footage shows the guide pushing the vehicle while revving the throttle, sending sprays of grey mud flying onto the helmet-clad holidaymakers standing behind the ATV on September 9.

Moments later, the soaking-wet tourists gave up and walked away, leaving the tour leader to push on until he finally manoeuvred the ATV out of the sticky terrain.

Tiw said: 'That wasn't how I thought my ATV ride would end, but we just rolled with it. We were both covered in mud but had a shower to clean off.'
