The world's last seagoing paddle steamer was towed in for repairs off Kent, UK this morning (October 3).

The historic vessel Waverley had only just celebrated her 79th anniversary yesterday (October 2), until engineers discovered a problem with the port paddle wheel following her trip around the Thames Estuary forts.

Waverley was towed from Southend pier by two tugs early this morning and was filmed passing Sheerness on her way to Chatham,

Engineers are hoping the ship can be repaired in time for this evening's cruise from Gravesend to London.
