Tusk Turtle Trail 2025 - Turtle London by Adam Dant is a spectacular addition to the Seven Dials of Covent Garden
The London History Tortoise designed by Adam Dant was a spectacular addition to Monmouth Street of the Seven Dials district of Covent Garden during the Tusk Turtle Trail in July - September 2025. Victorians kept tortoises as panacea caused by the train travel mania. This inspired Turtle London that uses the shell as a map. Sixteen turtles painted by well known artists and celebrities were scattered around central London during the Tusk street art installation this year. All of the turtles are to be auctioned on 8 October to support marine conservation.
