An amazing video has emerged of a street vendor making a toffee mousse in Beijing, China.

The footage, shot on Thursday by an Australian tourist, shows the vendor pulling a small lump of toffee from his batch and modelling it into a hollow drop.

He then asks a spectator to blow in the thin end of the toffee bubble while he pulls it in places to shape the ears, nose and paws of the mousse.

After a few blows the inflated toffee mousse is put on a stick and given to the spectator.

He starts with a pot of hot toffee mixture. He then pulls out a small lump of the toffee which he folds and kneeds repeatedly. Making a hollow lump, he pulls and stretches out the tail which acts as a tube you can blow air into which inflates the toffee.
My son Matthew then blows into the tail, the lumpnof toffee miraculously turns into the head and body of the mouse. The vendor shapes the ears and face.
The vendor then adds some whiskers and paints some features onto the face.
With a final blow, the legs and feet are brought into existence.
Finally, you get to eat the yummy mouse!
