VARIOUS OF DEMONSTRATORS MARCHING, CHANTING SLOGANS, CARRYING PALESTINIAN FLAGS, BANNERS AND GIANT KEFFIYEHS MADRID, SPAIN - OCTOBER 4, 2025: Thousands of demonstrators marched through Madrid on Saturday, Oct. 4, to protest Israeli genocide in Gaza. Protesters demanded an arms embargo on Israel, a boycott of Israeli companies, and the complete severing of diplomatic and economic ties. Carrying Palestinian flags, giant keffiyehs, banners reading “Stop the genocide in Palestine,” “End Israel’s arms trade and relations. Stop the complicity of the government and corporations,” and “Just peace,” along with placards, the crowd chanted slogans in support of Palestine. Since October 2023, Israeli genocide has killed nearly 66,300 Palestinians, most of them women and children. The UN and rights groups have repeatedly warned that the enclave is being rendered uninhabitable, with starvation and disease spreading rapidly.
