The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 67,139, with 169,583 others injured since the conflict between Hamas and Israel erupted on October 7, 2023, Gaza's health authorities said in a statement on Sunday. Israeli military actions in Gaza have killed 65 Palestinians and injured 153 over the past 24 hours, according to the statement. Since Israel resumed full-scale military operations in Gaza on March 18 this year after a brief ceasefire, 13,549 Palestinians have been killed and 57,542 injured, the authorities said. The authorities also reported one case of death due to famine and malnutrition in the past day. This raises the total number of people killed by malnutrition to 460, among whom are 154 children. Since local health authorities declared famine conditions in the Gaza Strip, a total of 182 deaths have been recorded, including 39 children.
