US, Los Angeles: Downtown Los Angeles Woman Barricades On Bus
Los Angeles, United States - October 07, 2025 10/07/2025 01:00 am GMT-0700 DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division officers responded to a report of a man threatening passengers on a bus Tuesday morning in the intersection of Venice and Broadway. Upon arrival, officers located a woman who appeared to be armed with a knife. Officers attempted to persuade the woman to exit the bus, but she refused to comply. After at least an hour of negotiation, officers entered the bus and took the woman into custody. Bystanders reported that officers used tear gas at one point in their efforts to gain compliance, but this detail has not been confirmed.
