Indonesia: Indonesia school collapse: search for victims ends as 67 confirmed dead
Indonesia - October 06, 2025 Indonesian rescuers ended the search on Tuesday after recovering 67 bodies from the collapse of the Al Khoziny Islamic boarding school in East Java, authorities said. The disaster agency confirmed the identification of eight additional body parts and announced the operation’s completion. The building collapsed last week during afternoon prayers, trapping hundreds of people. Most managed to escape.
