During a family hiking trip to Paria River Canyon, this dad sprung into action after his son became stuck in quicksand.

The mother, who was recording, told Newsflare: "Our family took a hiking trip to Paria River Canyon area in Utah and they warned us at the Ranger station before we left about quicksand.

"So our second day out my son wasn’t really paying attention too much to the footing underneath him and next thing you know he’s yelling out to us because he’s stuck.

"So my husband circled back and went over and he was indeed looking at our son stuck in quicksand! My husband was helping him out and pulling him out, while I was standing in the middle of the river, freezing my buns off, but once I knew he was gonna be OK I could not stop laughing! Everyone that has seen this video comments on my evil laugh lol."
