A family of six living on small farm in Nyah, Australia, burn tumbleweeds in order to keep warm during winter.

The mum told Newsflare: "We are a family of 6 on a small hobby farm, located in rural Victoria. Lilly is our 12 year old daughter who placed the tumbleweed on the fire, watched on by her 2 year old sister (Hailey), 4 year old brother (Kohen) and 10 year old sister (Grace) who were obviously over excited.

"Also present was me (their mother) who was recording with my iPhone 15pro and their dad who was in charge of the shovel. We were outside in July (winter) trying to get warm while we waited for the AFL to start and what better way to keep warm than to clean up the tumbleweeds on our property.

"The kids had a competition on who could collect the biggest tumbleweed, Lilly obviously winning and us not expecting the overwhelming reaction from us burning it."
