A kind worker gave water to two thirsty dogs sitting on back of truck while stuck in traffic.

The driver's assistant climbed down from the vehicle during a jam to check on the golden retrievers in Cebu, Philippines.

Footage shows him pouring water into a pot for the pooches to drink before traffic started moving again on October 5.

Onlooker Anthonette said he works for a moving company hired by the owners after their house was damaged by an earthquake.

She said: ‘His simple act of kindness towards the cute animals was truly quiet but powerful expression of humanity. A reminder that through the darkest times, humanity still exists.'

A powerful magnitude 6.9 earthquake hit Cebu province on September 30. Several houses and buildings were damaged, and leaving dozens dead. Thousands of families had to leave their homes after the quake with most of them still living in temporary shelters.
