Magical Morning Sky Lights Up At Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta
X user Julie captured a mesmerizing video of dozens of hot air balloons inflating at sunrise during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The colorful balloons rose slowly over the launch field, drawing the attention of early morning spectators.
Flames from the burners lit the balloons in vibrant shades of orange, blue, and red. The scene showcased the mass ascension on the third day of the event, with spectators marveling at the spectacle.
The 53rd annual ExxonMobil Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta runs from October 4 to 12, 2025, at Balloon Fiesta Park. Highlights include Dawn Patrol flights before sunrise, Special Shape Rodeos with giant character balloons, evening Glowdeos, and AfterGlow fireworks displays.
During the festivities on October 6, two balloons struck power lines, briefly causing local outages.
