A video captured by X user Kamrul shows a pro-Palestinian protest at the London School of Economics on the second anniversary of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks that triggered the Gaza war.

Students and supporters carried Palestinian flags, wore keffiyeh scarves, and held placards demanding an end to the conflict and calling for the university to divest from Israel. Chants for freedom resonated across the campus, echoing beneath trees and around parked bicycles.

Police in high-visibility vests were present to maintain order as the demonstration unfolded.

Kamrul said: “London stands for Palestine!

Today we stand against genocide at the LSE, marking the support for freedom, human rights and dignity of Palestine.

Israel must stop ongoing genocide unconditionally and that’s the voice of globe.”
