Irish comedian Tadhg Hickey greeted by Palestine supporters as he returns from Gaza stunt
Irish comedian Tadhg Hickey was warmly received by Palestine supporters upon his return home after participating in a Gaza aid mission.
Footage shows Hickey speaking with local media and fellow activists upon arrival at Dublin Airport on October 8.
The Cork-born comedian, writer, and filmmaker - known for his political satire and human rights advocacy - had spent four days in Israeli detention.
He was among those on board the Global Sumud Flotilla, an aid mission to Gaza, where detainees reportedly endured harsh conditions, including being forced to drink toilet water and being denied access to insulin.
Hickey returned alongside four other Irish activists, vowing to take part in future efforts to deliver aid to Gaza.
Israeli forces intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla aid mission to Gaza on October 3.
